Maximize your 6.7L Cummins' potential with the massive SPELAB All-Aluminum Intercooler. Designed specifically for the 2013-2018 Dodge Ram 2500/3500, this unit features a massive 106 mm (4.17 inch) thick core , significantly increasing the internal cooling volume compared to standard replacements.
Why Tube-Fin for this thickness? When upgrading to a core this thick, airflow to the radiator becomes a critical concern. SPELAB's engineered Tube-Fin design allows for a massive cooling core without creating an "air wall." It cools the intake charge air dramatically due to the increased surface area, yet its aerodynamic structure allows ambient air to flow through the core to keep your engine coolant temperatures in the safe zone.

We’ve significantly increased the core thickness to 106mm. This larger internal volume allows for greater heat exchange capacity, effectively lowering Intake Air Temperatures (IATs) under load. It acts as a massive heat sink that recovers quickly.
Deep Core Design with Better Radiator Airflow
A 106mm thick Bar-and-Plate core would be heavy and restrict airflow to the radiator. Our Tube-Fin technology is the secret weapon here—it allows us to build a core this thick to cool your boost, while still letting enough air pass through to the radiator to prevent engine overheating. It’s the best of both worlds.
All-Aluminum End Tanks Replace OEM Plastic
The 2013+ Rams still suffer from the weak link of plastic crimped end tanks. This SPELAB unit replaces those with reliable, aluminum tanks. No more blown end tanks, no more boost leaks.

Q: Will a core this thick (106mm) cause my truck to overheat?
A: That is exactly why we used a Tube-Fin design. The structure is designed to be "permeable," allowing air to pass through to the radiator even at this thickness. It provides the cooling capacity of a large core without the airflow restriction of a dense block.
Q: Is this an OEM replacement or a performance upgrade?
A: It is a Performance Upgrade. The 106mm core is substantially thicker than stock, providing better cooling capacity, while the all-aluminum construction adds reliability.
Q: Why is this better than the stock unit?
A: Two reasons: 1. Durability: Aluminum vs. Plastic. 2. Capacity: The thicker core holds more air and dissipates heat more effectively than the thin stock unit.
Q: Do I need the Bar-and-Plate version?
