The 3″ Turbo Outlet Downpipe is a direct-fit upgrade for the 2001–2004 Chevrolet 6.6L LB7 Duramax. Engineered to replace the restrictive OEM pipe, it improves exhaust flow, lowers backpressure, and reduces EGT. Made from 201 stainless steel, its 3″ straight-through design boosts turbo response and efficiency. Installs easily using factory flanges—no welding or tuning needed.
Features
3‑Inch Straight‑Through Design – Provides 20‑25% more flow area than the stock flattened oval pipe, dramatically improving exhaust velocity and reducing turbo lag.
Lower EGT & Reduced Backpressure – Helps maintain cooler exhaust temperatures under heavy loads, ideal for towing and high‑demand driving.
Direct OE Fitment – Uses factory flange dimensions and bolt holes for a straightforward, no‑weld installation.
Included Heat Shield Wrap – Minimizes radiant heat transfer to the engine bay, protecting wiring, brake lines, and firewall components.
Enhanced Sound & Throttle Response – Delivers a deeper, more aggressive exhaust tone while improving drivability and turbo spool character.
