PLUG AND PLAY INSTALLATION.The S&B Tank comes with all the components to remove your 31-gallon tank and replace it with our 55-gallon tank. The tank mounts in the stock location using the included straps. The tank occupies the space forward of the OEM fuel tank.FUEL GAUGE FUNCTIONALITY.Even with more fuel on board, your fuel gauge will remain working. The gauge will stay on full for the first 7-10 gallons, but then continue to move as normal. The distance to empty however will still be calculated based on the stock fuel capacity. For example, @ 20mpg and a full tank (55 gallons), you will have an 1100 range but your distance to empty will show 620 (20 MPG * 31 gallons).BUILT TO LAST. HSP offers a limited lifetime warranty to the original purchaser on eligible HSP products. Underhood powder coating has separate two-year limited coverage. Non-HSP brands follow their own manufacturer warranties. Discontinued products and customer/installer damage are excluded.
