The gauge will stay on full for the first 7-10 gallons, but then continue to move as normal. The distance to empty however will still be calculated based on the stock fuel capacity. For example, @ 20mpg and a full tank (55 gallons), you will have an 1100 range but your distance to empty will show 620 (20 MPG * 31 gallons).BUILT TO LAST.
