At the heart of the system is Kryptonite’s H1-inspired steering geometry. Rather than relying on the factory curved center link with straight inner tie rods, Kryptonite engineered this system around the steering layout used on the military H1 Hummer. The redesigned center link works with dual 90-degree inner rod ends, placing steering loads in a more favorable direction and dramatically increasing the system’s ability to withstand the extreme axial loads generated by oversized tires, lifted suspensions, aggressive off-road driving, and high-horsepower applications.
Unlike many aftermarket straight center link systems that sacrifice turning radius or alter steering geometry, the Kryptonite system was engineered to maintain factory alignment specifications, steering geometry, and full factory turning radius. Kryptonite’s lifetime statement covers eligible steering/suspension components for the original purchaser; it excludes Heim-style joints, dust boots, shocks, sensor wires and bushings. Direct/authorized-dealer purchase, registration within 90 days and proof of purchase are required. Inspection and approval precede replacement; no parts-cost refund or collateral damages. Customer pays shipping both ways. Do not assume lifetime coverage for excluded or other product types.
