It can read RPM signals from nearly any common source, including ignition coils, electronic ignition modules, magnetic sensors, pulse generators, Hall-effect sensors, and alternator AC taps. This tachometer is extremely versatile thanks to its wide calibration range, from 0.1 pulses per revolution up to 255 pulses per revolution, adjustable in 0.1-pulse increments up to 25.5 PPR. This makes it easy to dial in precise settings for almost any engine and sensor type. You can also view your highest recorded RPM at any time with the built-in recall function. It supports 9–32V systems and is engineered for harsh environments, featuring transient protection up to +100V / -400V. Visibility is excellent with bright, durable LED backlighting, and the large 3-3/8" gauge size ensures easy readability.
