What is the HSP Cold Air Intake for 2017-2019 Ford Powerstroke F250/350 6.7L? The HSP 1719 Powerstroke intake has been engineered to capture incoming airflow into the engine bay more efficiently than stock while maintaining factory MAF calibration. This intake utilizes the most direct path for airflow into the engine. On the dyno, this intake picked up 12.5 horsepower over stock and shifted peak torque to 500 RPM sooner in the power band. This intake not only improves engine performance but also produces more turbo noise than the stock intake. This product also features a newly designed HSP air filter with more filter area than previous generations of HSP filters. What Does the HSP Cold Air Intake Do Differently? It locates the intake in front of the battery in the engine bay, closer to the incoming ambient air than stock. The single-piece mandrel-bent 4.5" intake pipe has less restriction and fewer bends than the factory plastic intake. The sheet metal heat shield box captures the filter and deflects engine bay heat, helping to prevent heat soaking in the intake system.
