Featuring a tig welded construction with a bar and plate core, this intercooler is designed to be a drop-in fit that requires no modifications to install. This intercooler is also designed to work with all OEM components such as hoses, brackets, and mounting points. The core of a bar-and-plate intercooler acts as a heat sink, efficiently soaking up heat in stop-and-go traffic and dissipating it while in motion. The sealing in bar-and-plate units is superior, with bars and brazing sheets providing a 100% seal between ambient and charge sides. With more rows and area per passage, bar-and-plate units can handle higher boost more effectively than tube-and-fin designs.
