By replacing the lower overload leaf with thinner, progressive leaf springs, this add-a-pack minimizes the harsh rebound typically experienced with factory overload springs. When paired with a Carli Suspension System, it helps absorb medium to large bumps with greater control, offering a smoother and more comfortable ride. This progressive add-a-pack replaces the thick, rigid overload leaf that doesn't match the contour of the rest of the factory leaf pack. By removing this "spring wall" and adding a mini progressive leaf pack, the truck's rear spring rate becomes more predictable and smooth, which improves both ride quality and traction.
