This is an OEM direct replacement injector remanufactured by the original manufacturer, Bosch. Injector failure on the LLY or LBZ Duramax powered trucks is usually caused by either bad fuel or the use of power adders that increase rail pressure. Bad fuel can cause injector failure immediately, pressure boxes will cause failure over time. The best insurance against bad fuel contamination is to run a 2 or 3 micron aftermarket fuel filter in combination with a water separator.
