Injector failure on the LB7 Duramax powered trucks is usually caused by either bad fuel or the use of power adders that increase rail pressure. Bad fuel can cause injector failure immediately, pressure boxes will cause failure over time. The best insurance against bad fuel contamination is to run a 2 or 3 micron aftermarket fuel filter in combination with a water separator. For those of you that want to add filtration AND increase the fuel supply, we offer pumps from FASS, AirDog (PureFlow) and BD.
BOSCH ADVANTAGE:
The advantage to being rebuilt by Bosch is they have the ability to completely "gut" these injectors from input to output to ensure they are as close to new as possible. The only "Remanufactured" part of these injectors is the housing. All internals are brand new and then reassembled the right way by Bosch. There's no reason to pay enormous costs at the dealer.
